Awkwafina began as a American performer and rapper, releasing sly tracks that tackled questions of race and sexuality with a humorous twist. Before expanding to Hollywood the singer could perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans. In the following years, she took up traditional and hip-hop training.
