Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as an actress in films for her roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer, who has been actively involved in theater, film, and television. Her acting career started in the theater. She then appeared in numerous television shows as well as independent and mainstream films. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and appeared on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with high praise but also received a host of awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. Her credits on stage include the Broadway performance of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry she is most famous for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her role on television in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her praises.
