Anamaria Martinca, an actress from Romania. Her screen debut was with Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film for which she received the British Academy Television Award as the Best Actress. She was awarded the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in the Gala for Young Actors in Mangalia. She was selected as an European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. Anamaria Marinca, an actress from Romanian heritage was the first actress to screen in the Canadian-British television drama Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for the role. Her debut film Sex Traffic won the British Academy Television Award in the category of Best Actress. She also won numerous prizes for her performance in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She was a Romanian actress in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 Two days, 4 months (four months three weeks and two three weeks and two days) and was given with the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, she was a part in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. She appeared in 2008 as Yasim Angwar, the BBC miniseries of five episodes The Last Enemy. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well the Romanian film Boogie. Then, she played an important role in 2014's Fury in which she portrayed Irma her German Aunt of Emma.
